Personalized Cat Collars Help Identify Your Cat - A Personal Story

I've had many cats in my life and was not the type of person who traditionally bought the necklace for my cats. Not that I have anything against cat collars, but since I have not let any of my cats outside I could see the benefit. It was only last summer when I was a little cat incident. Let me explain. I have two cats. One female black, domestic long hair and the other is male, long hair, black and white Himalayan. Since both are within a cat I did not buy a necklace for them.

Then I went out of town for about three days and asked neighbors to check on a daily basis and feed my cats. She agreed, and everything was great. Upon arriving home I was horrified to learn that my neighbor has "accidentally" let one of my cats outside and was gone for the day. I was naturally a bit upset and immediately got a posse together in search for missing my cat.

I looked around the neighborhood and Eureka! I found her on the next block. But why did she come to me when I called her? It is usually pretty good coming when called. What worked was carefully watching me with a "deer in the headlight" look and was basically running away from me. This is wrong. Is she afraid to be outside? I was confused. I have not seen a lot of stray cats in the neighborhood so it had to be my child. Yes, the same hair, eyes the same color, same fluffy tail. Why not come when I called her? I decided to return home to get more help. On my way back upstairs to my "black ball" shot past me and hail to the door, meowing and clawing frantically into the house ... This is my child. I quickly let her into the house.

That's when I decided to buy a personalized cat collars for both my cats with ID tags I never want to have that bad feeling again. At least with a cat collar can easily identify my cat. Who would know that the cat in the neighborhood that looked just like my cat? I think I know that it is possible, but what are the odds of it happening that day? I am a changed woman. I've been converted. Not only my collar to my cat looks good, but now I never have to worry about misidentifying my cats. No matter what the odds.
